Account Information:

• Email address (for account access and communications)
• Name (for personalization and display)
• Password (securely hashed, never stored in plain text)
• Organization name (if applicable)

Usage Data:

• Time tracking entries and durations
• Project and task information you create
• Client information you add
• Reports and analytics generated from your data

Technical Data:

• Browser type and version
• Device information (for responsive design)
• Session data (for authentication)

Location Data (Optional):

• GPS coordinates are used to detect when you arrive at or leave saved work locations (geofencing)
• Location data is processed on-device; only location names and timestamps are stored on our servers
• Background location access ("Allow all the time") is requested only when you enable location tracking in Settings
• You can disable location tracking at any time in the app Settings

Analytics (Optional):

• The mobile app uses Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data (screen views, feature usage, app version)
• Analytics is enabled by default but can be disabled at any time in the app Settings under "Analytics"
• No personally identifiable information is included in analytics events

Phone Call Tracking (Optional, Android only):

• Phone state and call log access is used to automatically detect incoming, outgoing, and missed calls
• Call data (phone number, direction, duration) is sent to your account to create time entries
• This feature is disabled by default and only activated when you enable "Call Tracking" in Settings
• You can disable call tracking at any time in the app Settings

Device Information:

• Platform (Android/iOS) for feature compatibility
• App version for support and update notifications
• We do not collect device identifiers (IMEI, advertising ID, etc.)

Notifications:

• Notification permission is used for timer reminders, geofence alerts, and call tracking notifications
• All notification categories can be individually controlled in the app Settings

We use your information solely to:

• Provide and maintain the Juggling service
• Authenticate your access to your account
• Generate reports and analytics based on your time tracking data
• Send important service notifications (e.g., data issues, service updates)
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve the service based on usage patterns

We will never:

• Sell your data to third parties
• Share your personal information with advertisers
• Use your data for marketing without your consent
• Access your data for purposes other than providing the service
• Store your password in readable form

We take the security of your data seriously:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
• Passwords are hashed using industry-standard bcrypt encryption
• Database access is restricted and monitored
• We use secure authentication tokens (JWT) for session management
• Regular security reviews of our infrastructure

You have the right to:

• Access your data: View all information we have about you
• Export your data: Download your time tracking and project data
• Correct your data: Update any inaccurate information
• Delete your account: Request complete deletion of your account and data
• Account deletion: Delete your account from within the app, the web app settings, or at getjuggling.com/delete-account
• Opt out: Unsubscribe from non-essential communications

We use a limited number of third-party services to operate Juggling:

• Email Service (SendGrid): For sending account-related emails
• Hosting Infrastructure: For running the application securely
• Google reCAPTCHA v3: For bot protection during registration (processes page interactions, subject to Google's Privacy Policy)
• Google Analytics 4 (GA4): For understanding how users interact with Juggling, helping us improve the service. GA4 collects anonymized usage data including page views and feature usage. Analytics cookies are only set after you consent. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy
• Firebase Analytics: In the mobile app, Firebase Analytics collects anonymous usage data to help us improve the app. You can opt out at any time in Settings > Analytics

These services are bound by their own privacy policies and we only share the minimum information necessary for them to function.

We use browser storage for:

• Authentication tokens: To keep you logged in
• User preferences: To remember your settings
• Timer state: To persist active timers across page refreshes
• Cookie consent: To remember your analytics preference

With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how users interact with Juggling. GA4 uses cookies to collect anonymized usage data such as page views, feature usage, and session duration. You can accept or decline analytics cookies when first visiting the site. To change your preference later, clear the cookie_consent key from your browser's localStorage.

We do not use advertising cookies or any tracking that follows you across other websites.
